Welcome to the Whistling Marblers Club of the Lehigh Valley!

This is a membership for access to open studio for Marbling at Whistling Studios. The sessions will be non-instruction (though Keith will be present to assist when necessary). The idea is to have independent work time to develop your skills, make papers for your specific projects, and form community with other marbling enthusiasts!

The only requirement to join is that you've taken Keith's Paper Marbling Experience.

Every Thursday, I'll block out Open Studio from 1pm to 8pm. You'll come, find your materials ready for you, and work as you like. Make it leisurely and stay a long time. Or come and go as you please! Pick the time in that block that works best for you!

What are the perks?

Prep done for you. When you sign up for a session, you order only what you need, with various sized paper packs. When you arrive, your marbling carageenan and paper will be ready for you.
Regular access. When you marble regularly, you develop a practice, and soon will be injecting your marbleworks with more of your own voice as you acquire more mastery.
Pricing. There's no competition, this is the most affordable way to continue your marbling adventure, as long as you're comfortable being independent

The Finer Print:

When you are a member, you will be guaranteed at least 3 available Thursdays in each month. You will reserve your seat each week that you'd like to come (so I know to expect you), and order materials as needed.

Since I am the sole owner and teacher here, sometimes I might need to cancel a given day. If ever there is a month that I can only offer two Thursdays, your membership that month will be prorated.

As a member, you can always come just to hang out and be with your creative friends, but if you want to marble, you must choose your tray size and paper quantity below. Additional papers will be available ala carte on the day of your session, but are only available in limited quantities, as they need to be prepared days ahead.

Book Binding Kits for Simple Book Forms (Available through December 17)

Make holiday gifts for people you love from your gorgeous marbleworks! Each book kit will come with all materials to create the book, including paper for internal book block, book board, and supporting tools, supplies, and equipment. Covers and marbled elements will need to be supplied by member. Please note that the kit will not come with step-by-step instruction for creating the book form, though Instructor will happily give a brief refresher. This is primarily for guests who have already attended the topic's Club Clinic.

Bring a Guest!

All members can bring 1 guest per session for the low fee listed below. Guest must have taken the Paper Marbling Experience independently before attending Marbling Club, as this is a non-instruction format, and students must be able to safely and responsibly use materials. Papers can be bought in bulk and shared. Guests will be asked to sign a Studio Policy Agreement and Waiver at admission.

Workshop Policies Agreement and Student Waiver

Student acknowledges that some equipment and materials in the art studio may be harmful to self or others, and agrees to only use equipment and materials for which student has been trained and subsequently given permission for use by Instructor. Student assumes full responsibility for any misuse of equipment/materials or any accidental or intentional injury incurred by the use of this equipment/materials. It is the student’s responsibility to inform the instructor of any personal health concerns that may become crucial for safe involvement in the workshop activities. If the student has concerns but wishes to keep the specific nature of the health concern private, that student will make this known, and indicate a path the teacher may take towards more comfortable accommodations.
